Discover the Excellence of Rotor-Lift Aviation

About Us

Rotor-Lift was established in 1991 as a Helicopter Sales and Maintenance Company and was expanded to include helicopter operations with an Air Operators Certificate for medical transport,  aerial work and charter. Additionally, Rotor-Lift set up an Advanced Flight Academy which was the first of its type in Australia.

Rotor-Lift’s operations are located at the Hobart International Airport and we deliver Tasmania’s Helicopter Emergency Management Services (Air Ambulance) and Search and Rescue Services from a state-of-the-art facility.

Rotor-Lift Aviation is Hobart’s leading helicopter company offering a range of turbine, single and twin-engine helicopters available for scenic flights, transfers, charters and aerial work.

Based in Hobart and conveniently located at Hobart Airport, next to the International Terminal. Rotor-Lift can transfer guests arriving into Hobart via helicopter to their chosen accommodation,  including Saffire Freycinet, Pumphouse Point, and Cradle Mountain hotels.
