Flight School Simulator
The Rotor-Lift Simulator is state-of-the-art, and is CASA approved for up to 20 hours of the Command Instrument Rating Course, as well as for Instrument Rating Renewal flight tests.
The Simulator is based on an IFR Eurocopter AS-355 Twin Squirrel, which is the aircraft we use for the Command Instrument Rating training.
To give you the best training platform possible our simulator allows the instructor complete control to give extensive failure options. The weather is variable from clear skies and high visibility to cloud, rain, sleet, snow, thunderstorms, wind shear, turbulence and microbursts! A real instrument flying challenge.
The scenery is world-wide, You can land at over 18,000 airports, as well as roof top helipads, ships that pitch and roll and oil rigs.
It is intended that the Simulator will be also used for IFR, Night VFR and Night Vision Goggle Training.
For Pilot Trainees working towards night and Instrument ratings, the flight simulator has be proven to reduce the time required to master air exercises and procedures.
